PAGASA: PARTS OF VISAYAS, MINDANAO AFFECTED BY TROUGH OF TY QUEENIE
On Wednesday, October 3, PAGASA located the eye of Typhoon Queenie at East of Basco, Batanes.
Although it is not expected to make landfall in any part of the country, the state weather bureau said the typhoon has maintained its strength as it continues to move northwestward.
Meanwhile its trough will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm over Central and Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao and CARAGA.
Localized thunderstorms on the other hand will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The public is still being warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.
